Dough Crumbs
I emptied the piggy bank today, and voilà! A new purpose for the crumbs of currency that would otherwise have been left to mold and mildew in the dark crevasses of pockets, backpacks, and sidewalks. The dimes, nickels, and pennies of a year. And two quarters. They have these snazzy machines at Ralph’s that spit out Amazon cash codes for coins.

PSYCH!! Dat’s the wrong oath!

To think I lived there last year...
I’m in love with Rieber Dining Hall, otherwise known as Feast. Jap chae. Guava passion juice. Coconut [real] shrimp soup. KBBQ side dishes for a salad bar. Legit MOCHI for desert. Bulgogi kimcheese subs. They might as well have parked the Kogi truck inside. And the Asian talk shows/MTV-K (kdramas?) running on huge TVs and the sea of non-Asian servers angyonghaseyo-ing and gamsehamnida-ing to...
I plop down in my chair, all excited to finally be home after a brutal month and a half of school, not to mention an unfulfilled day of dodgeball, only to discover what would normally be a scholarship check waiting for me patiently on my desk has inexplicably morphed into a pitifully depleted, impoverished-looking excuse of a letter, nonchalantly informing me that as of this schoolyear, my...

Funny how after today’s large group sermon, I come back to the irony of these two articles side by side on my MSN homepage:

Ocassionally I wonder
…if I somehow misread the compass and have been waltzing around the wrong side of campus the last two years.
10.10.2011—a good day.
I started dozing off while doing homework tonight, so i headed over to the pull-up bar in our walk-in closet. I intended to hang there to stretch and wake myself up. But I got up too quickly, so I started getting dizzy. Normally when that happens, I stop what I’m doing and lean against a wall or something. But I found out if I kept hanging on the bar, the dizziness/tunnel vision gets like...
